1st European FEES conference on Ergonomics / Brugge / Belgium

On behalf of Prof. Kamiel Van Wonterghem, Conference Chair, Drs. Christophe Maes, Conference Secretary, Prof. Pieter Rookmaaker, President of FEES, and David O'Neill, Secretary General FEES and Poster Organiser,  we have the honour to announce the 1st European Conference on Ergonomics, which will take place in the wonderful historical city of Brugge in Belgium, 10 – 12 October 2010.

The Federation of the European Ergonomic Societies (FEES) is an umbrella organisation for - at present – 20 National Societies throughout Europe, which represent in total about 6,000 active ergonomists.

The choice of the conference topic “Social, Economic & Ergonomic Challenges for Ageing People” is, besides the scientific and practical relevance of the ageing problems, also focused on a major strategic and political priority concerning employment and the economic and socio-economic issues.
